PLAYLIST - Coastal Country
In 2020, there was one thing that allowed Brian and I to escape the craziness of the world...the global shutdown...and that was boating! To be able to venture out to the middle of nowhere and enjoy some sun, music and cold ones, along with a soft summer breeze - it was a blessing every single time we left the dock.
There's just something about boating that feeds our soul.
My husband and I are really lucky that we have friends that love to boat as much as we do and we were even more lucky that they invited us TWICE this year to escape together!
Each time we were on their boat (in South Carolina and Florida) we were stocked up with a cooler of drinks, a bag of snacks, a pile of beach towels and not a care in the world.
Country music was always playing on the boat, in the house and in their truck and became the soundtrack to our time together...and the inspiration for my Summer 2021 Playlist.
I promise, these songs will take you away... You will feel the warm summer sun on your face, water at your feet and cold beverage in your hand.
Wendell & Teresa, thank you for the much needed getaways and for turning us onto Coastal Country! This one's for you!

UPDATE September 2022:
I was so pleased to hear that the Ohio National Guard out in Lorain was listening to this playlist on repeat. They requested a Coastal Country Playlist #2. Instead of creating a whole new playlist, I decided to rebuild the original playlist…keeping some of my favorites, getting rid of ones that I had grown tired of listening to and adding some really fun new ones. I absolutely love this updated list and hope you do too!
